Title: Morbid

Summary: I got a set of quotation books for Christmas. One of which included this line by Septimus Tennyson "I am Septimus, most morbid of the Tennysons". I couldn't resist.




“Uncle George!”

”Al!” George looked up from his conversation with Harry, “There you are- did you have a good year at school.”

”Yeah I did, I got-“

“-And who is this?” George asked, peering behind Al to where a young blond boy stood. The boy stepped forward, his black cloak billowing a little like Snape’s had done in his lifetime. The boy was dressed entirely in black, save for the blood red lining of his cloak.

“I am Scorpius, most morbid of the Malfoys.” He smiled amusedly.

“Oh well, pleased to meet you Scorpius. Are you enjoying school too?” George asked politely, trying to suppress his mirth.

“Yes. Though I’m looking forward to when we move onto more advanced charms.”

“Scorp’s whiz at Charms, Uncle George you should see him.”

“I have to be, for my chosen career.”

“Bit early to be picking that isn’t it?” George asked, but then hurried to continue as he recalled that Al had been determined for over a year to be the youngest member of the Wizengamot before he turned thirty. “Er- I mean, what exactly is it you want to do?”

Scorpius grinned broadly, as if he was discussing flower-arranging, “I’m going to be a mortician.”

Oh, Scorpius the mortician. I love it.

I think flowgoogle.coer-arranging might not have been what you meant to write. I'm looking suspiciously at the google.co and suspecting it jumped in when you weren't looking.
