*grins* you got it in one- Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. I though, if when they hunt the stag it leads...somewhere...then maybe Snape-dying-sees-Patronus-Chasing-Lily and ....well, it can be interpreted as death/heaven or possibly a doorway to an AU. :)
