Flights of Fancy
His wings were warm in the sunlight; the weather was fine; the sky was his. Clouds were white warm ghosts on the beautiful pale Above. Ground rushed below him, buildings, farms, trees- were all just distant glimpses. From here he could see the lay of the land in all directions, the patterns formed millions of years ago and the sights that changed as the world of Man took over and created tin and stone buildings setting them apart from the green world around them, It was beautiful. It was the whole world laid out before him, and the sky was his unsullied playground.He was free from being watched, from being caged, free from expectations, and life was marvellous.
At his desk in the Auror's headquarters, Harry Potter looked out at the sky and smiled.
