A while ago my good friend lycoris issued a challenge where participants wrote different things for each of the twelve days of Christmas. I was reluctant at first because I knew I wouldn't fulfill them all but, flushed with success regarding my Spring-Heeled Jack challenge, I had a bash and managed about four responses.

So today's challenge was ... six romantic gestures

Firstly I'M SORRY. I've thought and thought and made list after list and got little in the way of inspiration.

All I've managed is this:

Summary: Remus doesn't know how to show Sirius how he feels.
Sirius is never on time for anything, but especially not breakfast. He runs in with five minutes to go before it’s time to go for first lesson. Remus has always saved him a seat, two slices of toast (and buttered them) and makes sure there is a mug of juice ready at his place. Lily always tuts at Remus, saying Sirius will never learn to be on time if people spoil him. James and Peter ignore Remus’ habit, in the hopes he might do it for them one day if they’re late.

What Sirius can’t see, as he nudges Remus gratefully before charging off to class, toast in hand, is that doing this little thing is the only way Remus knows to show the object of his affection that he fancies him. Of course, no one notices.

Oh yes! I'm not a Sirius/Remus shipper in general but this was really sweet and low-key. And just cute ^^
