No. I didn't zone out THERE WAS ONLY ONE SONG FROM MITCH BENN :(
boo.
I was really looking forward to the twitter song
In other news today I found out that "The Unborn" is actually a film. When a friend of mine mentioned that she'd "gone to see the unborn" earlier this week I had wondered if she was pregnant, because I could see her labelling a foetus as 'The Unborn'. Has a certain cachet.
Went and bought jeans today. My, how interesting a life I lead. Also am currently trying to write a scrip but am finding it very difficult because there are certain criteria to which I must adhere. The biggest issues are the ages, number of actors (four) and the time (ten minutes). Ten minutes is very difficult because if I write too simple a tale it will end up too short, if I make it too complicated, it'll be too long.
I have three vague ideas so I'm trying to write them all out and then I can decide where to go from there but it's a bloody sight harder than the last thing I wrote.

You're packing your bag for that other desert island—the one with no electricity—what 5 books do you take with you?
1. Swallows and Amazons by Arthur Ransome. Not only one of my favourite books from childhood, but also one that would no doubt be a great comfort when stranded upon a desert island.
2. The Complete Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle. Whilst the print of this edition would possibly kill me, it does have the most in compared to my nice-looking but less-substantial other version.
3. The Call of the Wild by Jack London. I love this story. Love it. I got it quite by accident whilst in Hay-on-Wye trying to get a copy of Tresure Island- the copy I got also contained four other novels. Call of the Wild grabbed me straight away and I follow Buck's travels from pet to wild dog with great love.
4. The Complete Works of A.E.Houseman It really speaks for itself this one. The more I read, the more charm I find in his work.
5. An Enemy at Green Knowe by Lucy M. Boston. My favourite in the Green Knowe series and a definite re-reader.
I've got a million others though that are narrowly clamouring for such spaces (Love in a Dark Time, The Secret Garden, What Katy Did, The Wind in the Willows, The Secret Life of Oscar Wilde, A Little Princess, Children's Poetry, Dead!, Sick!, The Naked Civil Servant, Dark Chalice to name but a few)
