*pleased face* I appear to have found a new obsessive moment. This of course puts a crippling kink in my plans of being Newly Industrious but I'm so pleased I couldn't care. These moments don't occur often enough when I find a new ship, fandom, niche-within fandom, theme and promply make an effort to read every fic I can on the subject. Lycoris stumbled upon me during my last one of "I stayed up all night reading every fic on the Snape/Hagrid archive *twitch twitch*" "Why?" "BECAUSE IT WAS THERE!"
So yesterday I stumbled over a HP/X Men xover called Harry Potter and the World that Waits which, though short and not perfect was rather good. Prior to this I have avoided X Men xover X Men, though I love the canon, is a long and badly-organised fandom and what stuff I usually find is often badly written (by stuff, I tend to mean Wolverine centric gen or slash) or has pairings I don't like (Wolverine/Cyclops. Seriously- Nooooooooooooooo! *scrubs brain of any image of Cyclops naked*).
So I read this, but it's a WIP so now I must FILL THE VOID OF WAITING by reading as many as I can find (although if they're truly awful I will backspace quietly from them) I've found a few so far and....
YAY
*dives in and wallows merrily*
