Twinings' hot chocolate is THE MOST FOUL THING IN THE WORLD. It LEAVES LUMPY RESIDUE IN THE DREGS no matter what you do and as such is a crime against nature. It's a good job we only bought it because the tins were broken and so they were reduced considerably. If I'd paid £2 or more for this EVIL then I would be seriously hard-done-by.
*wipes flour off nose*
This morning I've just made pastry which will sit quietly until I made a start on the pies. I'm currently a little twitchety that I might need to make another pounds worth of pastry as I had originally intended to doube my measurements but my largest bowl was too small. I did mean to get up early to make the pastry but that enterpise failed miserably as my bed was warm and the room was cold. Thankfully my MIRACULOUS PASTRY GADGET meant that the rubbing in took substantially less time and look! I've finished with a good quarter of an hour to go before I need to think about setting off. I'm also waiting to see if Nanny will phone me and offer a lift (she said she might) So I can't leave early.
My copy of The Naked Civil Servant arrived from swapshop yesterday *glee* I took it with me to rehearsal. I think the rehearsal itself went well for a first rehearsal, I was Very Pleased that my slightly so Brighella seemed to work all right (I couldn't really tell until I was actually acting with everyone else.) Albin eat your heart out. :P Anyway everyone was really good. I really really need to learn my lines ASAP as I physically can't hold the script one-handed for long without pain, I ended up cradling it for half the time. And anyway, a lot of Brighella's reaction is going to be in physical (hands, stance etc) and it's a bit hard to play someone who expresses themself with their hands with a script in my way.
Mum laughed like a drain when she saw me walking accross the station car park. Or should I say camping, or simply mincing. :P
