07:32 pm - *nurses throat*
The divvil has got me by the throat. Well, I'm not well at any rate and my throat is very sore. I have no idea what has brought this on but it better go away quickly because I can't afford to be ill for the next week and a half at least!

Today my brain was a bit like mush, so I forgot a lot of the things I was meant to do (which I'm now going to have to log off and do, especially the work that I needed done by tomorrow) and it was all a bit blurry. I did manage to make a decent tea, which is something, though my fairy cakes were a bit of a disaster (in my defence, I was running entirely on guesswork) and I'm going to have make some sort of makeshift bird table out of pieces of old bin tomorrow to stick what's left of the cakes out for the birds, heaven knows, they might turn their noses up at it.

I went the market though, a quick hour out, which was cheering- particularly as I got a lot of nice local veggies and things from the greengrocer stall. I'd forgotten how nice that stall was. I got three carrots, two apples, some broccoli and some sprouts for £1.49 which was very very pleasing.

The Stig has been 'outed'apparently, which is a bit worrisome. The last Stig they killed off for revealing his real identity, but this one didn't actually reveal it on purpose- some wretched sods decided to go spoil it for everyone else. Still, best keep an eye on Top Gear to see whether they'll have to kill this Stig off too.

My swapped comics have been posted off, so I spent some time rummaging around the house looking for more stuff I could put up on swapshop. I've got two videos another CD and a rather fancy book about the comic artist Alex Ross. That's the most 'expensive' item I've put up, because it really is quite collectable. I've also written out which comics I need to go ferret out to put up for swaps- now I know there's at least one person out there who's interested in them. Hopefully, once the ones I've sent reach their destination I shall have pretty points to spend on shiny new things. Pretty good for four comics I never liked, eh? :P

Right, I'm off now to go and practice on my driving cd and then go do the huge amount of copying-out that I should have done yesterday/this morning but forgot.
