It's probably a good job that I don't have easy access to the internet at Nanny's, because I was in such a steaming, stinking, foul-tempered snit this morning that when I got in from Mass, had there been a computer handy there would have been a lot of inflammatory, badly spelt drivel being posted on here. No, really.
Dislike of Fr M is growing constantly. It's like, everything we do, every step of the way, he's got his fingers in the pie and is rummaging around grubbily and nauseating, like the worm in the apple. This time it goes as follows ( Cut for Ranty McRant and Parish Politics )
Fortunately after a chat with Prawn (his exams start on Monday. I must remember to pray things go well, he's hoping to get into Bangor.) and a lovely Sunday dinner and some knitting I cooled off and was in quite a good mood reading the papers online this afternoon.
Disturbingly (and rather amusingly) one of the most read features on The Independent is a list of top ten sex toys. All of them many many pounds and most, in truth, I didn't see why they were so great. I mean...nipple tassles? A gaudy ring that doubles as a vibrator? O.o perhaps others with more knowledge of such things would disagree with me.
I really have to get a job soon. I'm becoming an utter bore on the topic. I clicked a 'comment' by David Mitchell and found it was about the recent (idiotic) news about "crackdowns on boring teachers" and all I could think was 'I said that' 'I could've wrote that'. Most distracting!
I'm also thoroughly amused by the fact that, in a very British kind of war The daily snail are handing out free lightbulbs in protest against the phasing out of non-eco lightbulbs I kid you not. The Now Show made a JOKE about Daily Mail readers doing this OVER TWO YEARS AGO "Remember the good old days, with the war and powdered egg and lightbulbs were round and not curly! O Where is the Britain of Our Past? It's Political Correctness Gone Maaaaad" *diez* because LIGHTBULBS are so much an indication of our civil liberties. :P
